As a buyer or seller in Mevi, you can easily track your real estate deals, view timelines, review forms and documents, sign assigned forms, and communicate with your agent. This guide walks you through the process step by step.
Getting Invited to a Deal
Your agent will invite you to a deal via email.
- Check your email for an invitation from Mevi.
- Click the link in the email to accept the invitation.
- If you don't have an account, create a Consumer Profile by selecting Buyer or Seller during registration.
- Once accepted, you'll gain access to the deal details.
Note: If you reject the invitation, your agent will be notified, and you'll be removed from the deal.
Viewing the Deal Timeline
The timeline shows key dates and deadlines for your deal.
- Log in to Mevi and go to your Dashboard.
- Select the deal from My Deals.
- On the Deal Details page, scroll to the Timeline section.
- Review milestones, such as inspection dates or closing deadlines.
Tip: Timelines auto-update when forms like the Purchase Contract are added.
Viewing Forms and Documents
Access all deal-related forms and documents in one place.
- On the Deal Details page, go to the Forms section.
- Tap a form card to open the Form Summary page.
- Choose a view:
- Smart View: Sectioned format for easy reading on any device.
- Contract View: Full form layout with populated fields.
- Toggle views using the toolbar or tap the 3-dot Action Menu for options like View Form (PDF).
For sellers: If offers are available, access Smart Offers to view them side by side.
- On the Deal Details page, go to the Offers tab.
- Click the Side-by-Side View icon to compare offers in a table.
Signing Assigned Forms
If your agent assigns you forms to sign, they'll appear as action tasks.
- On the Deal Details page, check the Action Tasks section for pending forms.
- Tap the form to open it.
- Review the form in Smart View or Contract View.
- If assigned, tap Sign and follow the prompts to add your signature.
- Save and submit. Your agent will be notified.
Note: You can only sign forms if given Sign permissions.
Messaging Your Agent
Stay in touch with your agent directly in the app.
- From your Dashboard, go to Connections.
- Select your agent and tap Messages.
- Type your message in the bottom text box and send.
- View replies in the conversation thread.
Tips
- Check your email and app notifications regularly for updates.
- Use Smart View on mobile devices for quick reviews.
- For sellers, highlight key offer details in the side-by-side view to make decisions easier.
Troubleshooting
- No access to the deal? Ensure you've accepted the email invitation. Contact your agent if needed.
- Can't sign a form? Verify you have Sign permissions—ask your agent to reshare the form.
- Timeline not visible? Confirm the deal has been set up with key dates by your agent.
- No messages appearing? Refresh the app or check your internet connection.
