Mevi Transaction Management simplifies collaboration for real estate professionals and clients. This guide explains the two main profile types in the Mevi app—Business Profile and Consumer Profile—and how they interact to enhance your transaction experience.

Overview of Profile Types

1. Business Profile

Business Profile is for real estate professionals such as:

  • Real Estate Agent
  • Transaction Coordinator
  • Lender
  • Title Sales Rep
  • Office Admin
  • Closing Agent
  • Closing Coordinator
  • Inspector
  • Photographer
  • Insurance Agent

When registering, selecting any role other than "Buyer or Seller" creates a Business Profile.

Agent Registration Requirements

Real estate agents must provide:

  • Real estate license number
  • Brokerage name
  • Office address
  • MLS ID
  • Office MLS ID

Key Features

  • Create Deals and Forms: Only Real Estate Agents and Transaction Coordinators can initiate and manage deals, including generating forms within them.
  • Invite Clients: Add clients to deals for seamless collaboration.

2. Consumer Profile

Consumer Profile is for Buyers or Sellers involved in a real estate transaction. Selecting "Buyer or Seller" during registration creates this profile.

Key Features

  • Access to Deals: View and participate in deals when invited by your agent.
  • View and Sign Forms: Access deal timelines, sign forms, and review relevant transaction details.

Profile Interactions

Team vs. Connections

  • Team: Users directly associated with your business operations, such as colleagues or staff within your brokerage.
  • Connections: External collaborators, like agents, lenders, inspectors, or other professionals not part of your team.

Inviting Connections

Business Profile users can invite Connections to deals, including:

  • External agents
  • Transaction coordinators
  • Lenders
  • Title sales reps
  • Closing agents
  • Inspectors
  • Photographers
  • Insurance agents

This allows for flexible collaboration with professionals outside your immediate team.

Tips

  • Ensure all registration details, like MLS IDs, are accurate to avoid delays in profile setup.
  • Regularly update your Connections list to include frequently collaborated professionals for faster deal invitations.

Troubleshooting

  • Cannot create a deal? Confirm you are registered as a Real Estate Agent or Transaction Coordinator, as only these roles can create deals and forms.
  • Cannot invite a Connection? Verify the user’s email is correct and they have a registered Mevi Transactions account.
  • Missing deal access? Confirm with your agent that you’ve been invited to the deal as a Consumer Profile user.
